The SEC-09 Symposium consists of invited peer-reviewed papers in the field of scientific and engineering computing. The goal of SEC-09 is to provide an additional forum within CSE-09 to cover novel theories, methodologies, algorithm designs, computing techniques for problems in science and engineering applications and inter-disciplinary applications. Papers of high quality in the following areas are invited:

.   Intelligent, Bio-inspired and Autonomic Computing

.   Distributed and Parallel Computing

.   Distributed Database and Data Mining

.   Grid, P2P, Web Services and Internet Computing

.   Mobile Computing and Wireless Communications

.   HPC Applications

.   Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing

.   Advanced Networking and Applications

.   Security, Privacy and Trust

.   Education in Computational Scientific and Engineering

.   Various scientific and engineering applications

Submission Deadline: Invitation only from peer-review results
Author Notification: June 10, 2009
Author Confirmation: June 15, 2009
Author Registration: June 26, 2009
Final Manuscript Due: July 6, 2009
