Full registration includes:
The Full registration fee is USD$480 for IEEE members, USD$350 for IEEE students (USD$650 for non-IEEE members and USD$450 for Non-IEEE member students). The deadline for Full registration is May 9th, 2008. Please note that if your payment is not received by that date, the paper will be removed from the main conference or symposia/workshop proceedings. This deadline will be strictly enforced.
- Publication of one accepted paper in the main conference or symposia/workshop proceedings
- A copy of the main conference or symposia/workshop proceedings volume in which the paper appears
- Access to all conference sessions and workshops/symposia
- Lunch, banquet and reception
- Program brochure and conference goodies (e.g., bags/paper/pens)
For Full registration, in order to qualify for the IEEE member reduced registration fee, the IEEE membership number must be included in the registration form. Similarly, in order to qualify for the student reduced registration fee, proof of current student status (e.g., current Student ID or other proof of current enrollment) must be e-mailed (as an attached scanned image or pdf file) to cse08-reg@googlegroups.com. Please note that both current IEEE membership and student status will be verified.
If you register for the main conference, for example, your paper is cse08-127, please use the conference name as "CSE08", then fill in "127" as the paper ID on the registration form. Any incorrect use will lead to the registration failure. You can find your paper ID from the webpage (http://cse.stfx.ca/~lxu/CSE-08.htm)
If you register for symposia/workshops, you are not sure about the workshop/symposium names and paper IDs, please refer to this page (http://cse.stfx.ca/~lxu/SEC-08.htm) for all symposia/workshop names and corresponding accepted IDs to be used in the registration database. For example, you find your paper ID at SEC08 accepted list as SEC08-246, please use the conference name as "SEC08", then fill in "246" as the paper ID on the registration form. Any incorrect use will lead to the registration failure.
When you register for main conference or symposia/workshop, please avoid using ' in your affiliation, University or title etc, since it has been pre-defined as a system symbol. It will lead the registration failure.
Registration payments can be done via bank transfer or credit card. For bank transfer payment, please use the following information:
- Beneficiary (account owner): CSE 2008
- Swift code: BRASBRRJRPO
- IBAN: 001306270000151467
- Branch address: Avenida Sao Carlos, 1167 - Centro - Sao Carlos - SP - Brazil
- Name of bank: Banco Do Brasil
- Branch/Agencia: 3062-7
- Account/Conta Corrente: 55.146-5
For bank transfer outside Brazil, the author must pay an extra Brazilian bank fee of US$ 50, as well as the fees from your local bank in order to process the bank transfer. Therefore, please make sure that the net amount that is transferred to the above account is no less than the required registration fee. In this case, we strongly suggest you to use credit card payment. If you have to do so, after bank transfer, please include the required letter (downloaded from here) with your bank transfer indicating the name of your conference/workshop/symposia and your paper ID (if applicable). Please send the scanned letter and bank transfer receipt to cse08-reg@googlegroups.com by email with the name of your conference/workshop/symposium and your paper ID (if applicable). We will confirm your payment based on your scanned letter and receipt.
If you are paying with credit cards, Payal does have a different sending limit for different contries/regions. If you would like to pay for more papers and have reached the limits, please either change a different credit card or use the bank transfer instead. Based on one author's experience, some additional fees may be charged from the author's side if the American Express card is used, but not for VISA and Mastercard.
The hard copy registration receipts can be picked up at the conference.

- Due to high bank transfer fees from Brazilian Bank and your local bank, the option of credit card payment is highly and strongly suggested.
