IEEE/ACM GreenCom 2010 is the next event of the series of International Conference on Green Computing and Communications (GreenCom) after it has been successfully held for continuous five years, namely PerGrid-09 (Vancouver, Canada, August 2009), PerGrid-08 (San Paulo, Brazil, July, 2008), WESAPEC-07(Jeju Island, Korea, October, 2007), Multisec-06 (San Diego, USA, December, 2006) and Multisec-05 (Irvine, USA, December, 2005). IEEE/ACM GreenCom 2010 will host multiple one or half day workshops co-located with the main conference in Hangzhou, China. The workshops are intended to provide researchers and participants with an exciting international forum to exchange novel research ideas, to discuss challenges in a wide range of topics, to identify emerging research areas, and to define future directions. We invite your submissions of workshop proposals on any topic related to green computing and communications. The ideal workshop proposal should focus on a specific area, be of current interest, and be able to attract a number of high-quality submissions. Proposals on specific new challenges, emerging topics guaranteed to generate significant interest in the community are highly encouraged. The organizers of the workshop shall have responsibility of the call for papers, organizing program committee, review and selection of papers as well as planning the workshop program. The registration fee for workshops will be determined by the conference (not the workshop itself). The fees will be paid to the conference, and the conference will provide workshop facilities including the working notes printing, the meeting room, coffee break, lunch, proceedings and etc. Proceedings of GreenCom 2010 workshops will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press (Indexed by EI). The workshops with more than accepted 15 papers will be granted with a free complimentary registration for the leading workshop organizer. |
